Many pond builders have found that adding a bottom drain helps keep a pond cleaner. Fish waste and other muck that accumulates on a pond bottom can be easily removed by a bottom drain. Ponds that are over 2' deep can become stagnant without a bottom drain.
The 3" EasyPro Bottom Drain is available with air diffuser (BDA) or without air diffuser (BD1) in lid. The air diffuser uses air to increase circulation throughout the pond. Both bottom drains have dual rubber gaskets and six stainless screws for water tight penetration through the pond liner.
EasyPro Bottom Drains are also available with Drain Kits that are designed to connect bottom drain into skimmer box. The drain kits include bottom drain, 2" bulk head fitting, 2" valve and fittings (flex pipe sold separately).
